1. EAM Products Team to get training/exposure on protection applications theory.
2. EAM Products Team to improve the handling (quality & on-time) of Customer technical queries.
3. Visibility of AREVA T&D in the local Technical Seminars / Symposiums to increase.
4. EAM Support Team to get a Faculty for mini-APPS courses conducted in Dubai and a strong local reference point for Expertise projects.
5. EAM Products and Systems Teams to have the "Utility" perspective to maximise results in Customer meetings / correspondence.
6. EAM Products and Systems Teams to have extra knowledge about competition product features to be effectively used in spec-in efforts.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Commercial (Tendering & Negotiation): Study customer’s technical, commercial & legal requirements. Prepare offers in line with company standards with Management approval. Support Management during contract negotiation
Promotions & Approvals: Key role in product launches, presentations, discussions, spec-in activities, exhibitions, site trials etc through Marketing, T&D ISO. Implement actions necessary for product approvals based on regional strategy and priorities
Application Support: Provide technical support to clients in the region e.g. technical queries, developing customized solutions, supporting scheme engineering, analyzing field performance etc.
Product Problems / Non-quality Issues: Take the lead in investigating and resolving product problems reported. Support local actions required for resolution of major non-quality issues
EAM Internal Support: (1) Assist Support as faculty in mini-APPS & Expertise (2) Assist Substation Automation Commercial team in DCS Promotion Skills

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

· Education / Experience
Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or related discipline
Technical Expert with many years of theoretical & practical experience

· Specific knowledge
Knowledge of the application of protection relays, measurement equipment, Substation Automation (conventional & digital control systems) in electrical power systems
Good oral / written communication skills & good presentation skills

· Business understanding
General understanding is sufficient Company Profile
