Construction Architect, Bahrain Based, Various Project in ME region The is an interesting role for a construction savvy architect to work for a well established design and build main contractor and property Developer looking at Projects in Bahrain and in UAE. My client is looking for a candidate that has a good understanding of construction and potential buildability issues and is able to put forward potential design solutions to management and to outside consultants. You will essentially be responsible for supervising a small team of in house draughtsman and junior architects who will be responsible for the output construction documentation. You will deal day to day with project managers and director and other parts of the business such as the interior fit out company. The role will involve a fair amount of travel to various sites in Bahrain and elsewhere in the UAE and will encompass both exterior and interior architecture on varied projects from high end mixed used developments, Residential and hotel projects. Main Requirements Minimum 8 years experience post graduate architectural experience. An ability to produce sketches to visualize ideas (if necessary) and manage documentation output. Strong communication skills and strong understanding of construction techniques.
